Emil Vişenescu

Prof. Emil Vişenescu received his PhD at the National University of Music in Bucharest and he’s been Principal clarinet of the George Enescu Philharmonic since 1993. A high caliber performer of international acclaim, Mr. Vişenescu has played as a soloist with the Bern Symphony Orchestra, Biel Symphony Orchestra and Ludus – a private orchestra from Bern, the Philarmonia Chamber Orchestra Bucharest, George Enescu Philarmonic Orchestra, and the National Radio Orchestra in Bucharest. He’s made recordings with the Romanian National Orchestra, Radio Chamber Orchestra and Mozaic Trio, recitals at the Academy of Music and Dance – Jerusalem and Salon d’Or Hotel Behague in Paris, and concert tours with the Profil Simfonietta in Bern and Biel (Swizerland), at the Elzenveld Cultural Centre, Anvers (Belgium), and at the Internaţional Festival The Warshau Automn, in Basel, Zürich and Berlin.
